Provided I have Calibre installed on desktop or laptop then my library should be accessible (read only) and if I have Google Drive Desktop installed as well then I can upload new ebooks from the device. There is a program called Calibre-Web (independent of the official Calibre) that works in the browser but I won't use that as the installation looks a little tricky and I don't really need it.

Online Calibre Database
Given the copious storage that I now have available on Google Drive, I thought I'd move my ebook library online rather than have it sitting on my laptop where its inaccessible from other devices. I can create copies of course but keeping them synchronised is a pain. What I've done so far is set up Google Drive on my laptop with synching not mirroring active. This way the files remain in the cloud and do not reside on your computer unless you choose to download a file. I've now moved my entire library to Google Drive.
